Case Study

PROCESS ENERGIE DOKTER

Banner for the Energie Dokter project

During my internship, I worked on the De Energie Dokter website. In this case study, I show how I developed the interface further and why the header and footer became so important for the first impression, navigation, and the overall finish of the website.

TEST PROTOTYPE
  • Make the existing website visually stronger and more consistent within the established style.
  • Redesign key parts like the header and footer to create more calm and professionalism.
  • Refine screens so the website feels clearer, more accessible, and more appealing.
  • Keep the balance between informative content, usability, and a look that fits the brand.

I first looked at the existing structure of the website and at the parts that had the biggest impact on the overall feel. It became clear that the header and footer could do a lot for recognition, navigation, and the sense of finish.

From there, I made choices that made the site feel calmer, clearer, and more professional without losing the existing brand language. These fixed components are exactly where a website starts to feel truly complete.

In this project, I learned how much impact strong foundational components can have. Giving extra attention to the header and footer instantly makes a website feel more consistent and professional.

I also developed my eye for detail further in aligning content, guarding visual consistency, and improving existing designs within one clear design direction.
